Christmas Vacation Newsletter

I have the pleasure of forwarding this newsletter on the successful conclusion of the
term and in celebration of the Yuletide season. Having come this far, it is our resolve to
continue to inspire change in our learning delivery while adding value to our educational
Academics- Note copying in class will be reduced to the barest minimum from next
term. This will eliminate all problems associated with incomplete notes and resolve the
naughty issues of missing and stolen notes. All students will receive handbooks of each
subject notes. Classroom sessions will be more project-based and students centered
instruction driven by questions, discussions and student activities.
SAT Examination- Six students were registered, prepared and took the first trial of the
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) organized by the American College Board. The second
and final SAT for the 12 th graders will be in June 2018, when they would have shown
more preparation, readiness and confidence.
JAMB Examination- The 2018 JAMB Examination for admission into Nigerian
Universities is on-going. Final year students who indicated interest by payment have
been registered in designated CBT centres. Students who have not registered are
advised to do so during this vacation before the registration window closes.
2018 WASSCE/NECO SSCE- The registration of our final year students for WAEC and
NECO is in progress. All fee defaulters are advised to complete outstanding fees before
the registration ends. In view of the preparations for these examinations (WAEC,
NECO, JAMB and SAT) which are scheduled between Jan – June 2018, 12 th grade
students are advised to board. Also, there shall be no Easter Vacation for final year
students. Payment of second and third term fees should therefore be made
together. The fees advice has been attached.
NECO/STATE BECE- Registration for this Junior School examination will be in Jan
2018. Since this is also the final examination for Junior School Students in 9 th Grade,
intensive preparatory classes are in progress. As a matter of necessity, 9 th graders will
not observe Easter vacation next year due to these examinations. Therefore they are

also required to pay the second term and third term fees together upon resumption in
January 2018. Kindly see the attached school fees advice.
Result of 1 st Term Examination- The results of this term’s examination will be
published online via the school’s portal on Friday, 15 th December, 2017 from 12 noon.
This can be accessed through our web address: with the
student’s admission number and PIN. Students who are resident in Enugu may want to
pick a hard copy from the front desk office on Friday from 12 noon. Students who are
staying outside Enugu could have their results sent to their email as requested.
Resumption & Payment of Fees- Resumption for the second term of the 2017/2018
session is Monday, 8 th January 2018. Boarders are expected into the boarding house on
Saturday, 6 th January 2018 from 12noon to 6pm. Fees should be paid on or before the
resumption of term. Boarders who are not with their fees bank draft will be turned back.
All day students are to pay their fees within one week of resumption. Kindly help us to
